You don't have to be an #AuburnTigers fan to love blue and orange! The blue theme with orange accents made my table setting earlier this year one of the easiest and most admired DIY decor projects I've done.
A tried and true method for casual table settings is the use of elastic hair bands as the base for napkin holders. Any item with a clip, twist tie, or flat surface can be attached to the band very easily. Using navy blue bandannas was another simple and affordable idea.
The centerpiece consisted of a slender vase with lighter blue silk flowers with hints of navy, big bloom orange floral flowers, and white accents. Because of the size of the table, I used round placemats as rectangle mats would have overlapped each other.
